I grew up in Fremantle, a historic port city that has now become part of the southern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. "Home of the America's Cup" - briefly, when I was a little kid.

These are mostly photos I took living there in my teens. OK, so that was just a couple of years ago.

One or two are more recent, although I don't get down to Freo (as the locals call it) very often any more.

I've always found it difficult to take photos in Freo despite the nice old buildings, as it always feels so touristy.
